CONNIE ISAACSON, OF COUNSEL

Connie Isaacson,  retired CFRE has more than 25 years of broad-based community leadership at the local, state and national level. She has experience in fund development, health care management, education and training, community needs assessment and community engagement. She has provided services to scores of nonprofit organizations in the Midwest in the fields of arts & culture, social services, health care and education, and has assisted organizations in raising more than $74 million. She is a graduate of the University of Indiana Center of Philanthropy’s Fundraising School and has met the extensive requirements to become a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE). In 2011 she was recognized as one of the Des Moines’ Business Records Women of Influence and has authored the book “The FUNdamentals of FUNdraising.”

NIKKI SYVERSON, PRINCIPAL

Nikki Syverson has nearly 20 years of experience in nonprofit management, fundraising and strategic planning serving in leadership roles at Capital Crossroads, the Des Moines Community Playhouse, Wine Festival Foundation of Des Moines, and the Des Moines Symphony Orchestra. She has a proven track record of improving the financial position and strategic direction of nonprofits in the community and has dedicated her time on several boards and committees. Nikki is a proud alum of Drake University, serving in various alumni volunteer roles since 2009. In 2012, Nikki was a Juice YP of the Year finalist and one of the Des Moines Business Record’s Forty Under 40. In 2019 Nikki was named one of the Business Record’s Most Influential Forty Under 40 Leaders.
